Hi, we are Corrie and James a.k.a MCG Photography based in Charleston SC.
Photographers who specialize in weddings, elopements, portraits and non-profits that grab the heart strings.
Our end goals are feel-good experiences and stunning photography. We work as a team. Blending the masculine and feminine is a wedding day plus. From modelings poses, seeing from different perspectives and separating prior to the wedding for time management. In portraits, one of us can engage the kiddos while the other is free to get photo-gold.
Weddings: All things weddings around the Charleston area (Historic Downtown Charleston, Kiawah, Seabrook, Mount Pleasant, IOP and occasionally Columbia, Litchfield, Pawleys and Savannah).
Each couple has their style and story. We focus on the relationships, in-between moments and joy with beauty as the byproduct.
Bring on the happy. Bring on the wonder!
Portraits: Solo portraits, small families and extended family groupings became an organic evolution as our wedding clients became parents.
We lean toward natural settings from beaches, parks, streets of downtown, family homes and horse pastures. The Lowcountry is our playground and we are happy to offer location suggestions.
Hugs are encouraged. Laughter is welcome.
Events: Local non-profits, museums, festivals and an occasional corporate retreat are creative cross-training for us photographically. Documenting exhibit openings, visiting artists & artisans, lectures, camps, award ceremonies and even concerts keeps our eyes, ears and inner artists on our toes.
