Unique Ideas

Holiday Themes

Our brides have found some inviting and tasteful ways of incorporating the Holidays into their festivities.  Here are four that have recently stood out:
valentines wedding
Valentine’s Day: The bride is an early childhood teacher and she outdid herself by having the most kid-friendly wedding.  At the reception they had a valentine’s station where kids and adults alike were making creative cards for the couple and others.  Also included were chocolate heart suckers in red, white, and pink for favors.

St. Patrick’s Day :  The bride is a green-friendly, earth-loving bride and she managed to blend St. Patrick’s Day and her personality with style.  She had a green sash around her dress, named her tables after different green plants (ie. clover, shamrock), gifted four leaf clover favors, and had green hydrangeas on her cake.

Christmas: In lieu of a sign in book, the couple provided ornaments and asked the guests to write a pearl of wisdom.  The ornaments decorated a Christmas tree set up for the reception.  Their colors were bold reds and their favors were scrolls.  The scrolls signified donations made to Toys for Tots.

New Years: The couple had a cigar and bourbon bar that was a hit.  The party went well after midnight with family and friends bringing in the new year together.

We were married on July 4th and get to celebrate with fireworks every year. If you are thinking of a holiday wedding, please keep us in mind.
